2017 Book of the Year celebrations

CBCA Tasmania is delighted to be hosting the 2017 Book of the Year Awards.  The awards will be celebrated at Government House Tasmania at 12 noon on Friday, August 18, hosted by our patrons, Her Excellency the Honourable Kate Warner and Mr Richard Warner.  Current members should secure their place on the list of official invitees by emailing before Friday 26th May.

The celebrations continue with a Gala Dinner.  Join short-listed authors and illustrators, CBCA Board and judges, publishers and local book lovers on Hobart’s beautiful waterfront for an evening of celebration.  A special feature of the night will be the announcement of the Nan Chauncy Award. The recipient will deliver an exciting acceptance speech. (We’ve got to keep the name under wraps, but those attending are in for a real treat!)
